The church was hopping on Easter morning – during the early service we transformed sanctuary from Good Friday darkness to the new life of Easter, with flowers and butterflies. Breakfast was prepared for all by happy volunteers. (We remember that Jesus asked his disciples for a meal that morning!) During worship new Bibles were presented to youths, with Family Bible Stories to younger children, and all present shared communion. After worship the kids enjoyed hunting for Easter eggs filled with candy, and it was great to observe some older kids sharing with ones who didn’t find as many eggs.
