Activities

Our congregation has much to offer.
Check our Calendar for the current schedule of all Activities.

There are classes and programs for all, from children to senior coltracitizens. Our church is known for its music and you won’t find better cooking or fellowship anywhere in Columbus! More important though is that we offer you the chance to give of yourself. We believe that in serving each other we all will find life, and live it more abundantly.

There is a place for YOU in the fellowship of Community Congregational Church! We have many opportunities for community including:

  • an active Women’s Fellowship/Teamworks that hosts receptions at the church, helps the church in many ways, honors Columbus teachers, and meets for interesting programs.
  • an Hospitality Committee planning and carrying out fellowship and outreach events
  • Mission & Outreach Opportunities from Project Hope (the food bank for Stillwater County) to Special K Ranch, Intermountain (Home for abused children), and beyond
  • several Children’s and Youth Programs including Jammin’ for Jesus, our Wednesday afternoon program for youth of all ages, Noon – 3 pm through August 19.  Find more and print the sign-up sheet.
  • and an active Diaconate meeting the needs of our members and community.

Lenten activities begin with our annual Fat Tuesday Pancake and Sausage Supper, delicious food and good time for our church family and the community at large. No set charge – donations are used for our Youth programs. Starting on Ash Wednesday we share with St. James Lutheran in Wednesday evening soup supper and short worship. Holy Week includes lots of choir music and annual Good Friday salad luncheon for our church family and the community.
